Administratively, this mountain is divided into 4 districts, namely Boyolali Regency, Magelang Regency, and Semarang Regency. This mountain was opened by 5 official paths by the Mount Merbabu National Park Office (TNGMb) Selo, Suwanting, Cuntel, Thekelan and Wekas grooves. The Selo Trail is the most favorite among the others because of its easy access and relatively gentle climbing terrain
